Syncing your knowledge base
Learn about manual sync and automatic sync

AssistFlare comes with two methods to sync your knowledge base:
- Manual Sync - free & pro plans
- Automatic Sync - pro plans only
Manual Sync
To manually sync your knowledge base from your AssistFlare dashboard, go to your knowledge base dashboard. From the top left corner, hover on the
Last Synced time for a sync detail popover to appear.
From the popover that appears, click on Re-sync to sync your knowledge base. Once the knowledge base is synced, a message will appear letting you know it has synced successfully.
You can close the page or navigate to some other page while the sync is happening as this occurs in the background once triggered.
Automatic Sync
In our pro plans, your knowledge base is synced automatically from Notion every 5 minutes. You do not have to do anything - this is done in the background.
If you upgrade your plan to a pro plan or are trialling our pro plan, your sites will automatically start syncing. Once your trial/plan expires - your knowledge bases will fall back to manual sync as syncing method.
