Changing knowledge base theme colors

Learn how to update your knowledge base theme colors and customize it to fit your brand

AssistFlare allows you to customize the accent color and link color of your knowledge base separately. If you define only the accent color, the link color defaults to the accent color.

What is the accent color?

The accent color is the color used for accenting various UI elements. For e.g. on the homepage of your knowledge base, the collection list and suggested articles list have a left border which is of the accent color:

The accent color is also used on the collection view page and the Made with AssistFlare bade.

The link color on the other hand is used on everything link/clickable element.

Updating the accent and link colors

To upload your logos, from your knowledge base dashboard:
  1. Navigate to the Look & Feel link under the Settings section from the left navigation menu.
  1. Expand the Theme section if not already expanded.
  1. Enter the hex color code of the accent color and link color you want to reflect on your knowledge base or use the color picker to choose a color of your choice.
  1. The new color will immediately reflect as you type in the new hex value or drag around the color picker over the color wheel.
  1. Click on Save Customizations to save your changes.
