Learn how to change your knowledge base name, description and more

The General settings page can be accessed from your knowledge base dashboard. The page allows you to modify several settings of your knowledge base:
Name: The knowledge base name, used in browser tab and also in the meta title and is what appears in search engines. e.g. AssistFlare Docs.
Description: The knowledge base description which is what is concatenated to your knowledge base name and forms the knowledge base title for the homepage in the format Name - Description. For e.g. AssistFlare Docs - Documentation to get you started with AssistFlare.
Language: This is the meta data set for your knowledge base to indicate to search engines the primary language of your knowledge base.
Search Engine Indexing: You can toggle this on/off to update the knowledge base’s robots.txt to allow/disallow search engine indexing.
To access the General settings page, from your knowledge base dashboard:
This is how the different options above are laid out in the general settings page. Update any one of them and click on Save Settings to save your preferences.
